Transformers 4: Back to Basics

Summer sequels are getting me down. So much robot on robot violence. Are there any more original ideas out there? And are there any robots that we can trust? Well, ok, so a robot themed party is nothing new, but seriously, how cute are our cards? When things are hand made and illustrations are uniquely created, you can't help but remember that everything old is new again. This was for Jennifer's baby sprinkle when she was pregnant with Grayson a year ago.

An obsession with paper is what I have. Everytime a friend of mine had a bridal shower, baby shower or kids birthday party I quickly volunteered to make the invitation. I also made birthday and thank you cards ahead of time so I would always have some on hand. No slick graphic design going on at this point, that would come later. These are some of my early designs.
